Bloom Dental Care and Irving Park Dental Center are the General Dentistry practices of Dr. Spencer Bloom.  Irving Park Dental Center opened in Chicago in 1983.  We moved the office in September 2006.  Bloom Dental Care opened in Northbrook in 2005.

Dr. Bloom's hobbies include computing, reading and woodworking.  His woodworking creations include plaques for athletes and coaches as well as scrollsaw cuttings with wildlife and children's themes.  He has two grown children.  Megan recently retired with rank of Captain in the US Marine Corps and is the mother of two girls.  David Bloom is a Computer/Electrical Engineer developing and testing hardware for Apple Computer.

Kimbra Bloom is Dr. Bloom's office manager.  She has a background in Medical Assisting and is a skilled baker of elegant cakes for weddings and special occasions.

Ellen R. has been continuously working as chairside assistant with Dr. Bloom since 1980.
